Two weeks ago another neighbor asked me if I had seen him lately. The mail was starting to pile up and Richard was obsessed with the mail.

We call the police to do a well check on him and it turns out he died a few days prior in his bed.

The officer said that he was starting to mummify.

Poor guy.

they found my husband's best friend (who died last week) in bed that way, too, except that he didn't start to mummify yet.

he was single w/ no kids.

it was a blood clot in his chest. He was younger than I am.

I haven't heard richard cause of death. What is sad to me is that he had children and because of his mental illness, they wrote him off

There was no memorial, and all of his belongings were just set out in the trash.
