anglophileff, we haven't lost anything. hubs pointed out I can plug in an external keyboard. so once we get an external hard drive, I

should be good to go. I probably can go ahead and use laptop, but I don't want anything to go wrong without first getting the pics.

my laptop jsut met the fate of yours last week thanks to my 20 month old

but I always back up ... both on the internet and on a separate hard drive

so it wasn't so upsetting. OMG the thought of losing all teh photos makes me twitchy!

I talk a lot about getting twitchy at the thought of loosing photos and I still haven't backed up mine!!!
