Can you hire Americans? Most ed-tech people I know look for jobs on the Educause website.
share qualifications/requirements?
Americans are feasible, though my preference is for someone familiar with the Canadian educational market.
We are building self-test mechanisms to go with out texts. Must be able to integrate with institutional learning management systems.
I need someone who is familiar with the various software packages, and the practical implications of their usage.
By the end of the project I want a stable, off the shelf solution and templates whereby we can start loading testbanks.
Must integrate with moodle, blackboard, etc.
I looked and there are a bunch of member institutions of Educause from Canada, including your town. You might even be able to call one
of those departments up to look for leads.
Also, LinkedIn is one of the sites that is supposed to be useful for this.
Pp me if you want to connect on linked in. I have ed/tech folks in my network
Sam, wasn't even aware of educause. Facepalm ensues. Thank you so much!!!
Sam, that org looks amazing.
doesnt help cal's cause, but both ideas are great for my "next thing" which may be something like "ed/tech, math teacher, tech room teacher"
on my 5-year plan, i just say "the next thing: give back"
