Some excellent music. I've seen Ten Years After Live.. Thats as close as I've been to woodstock.

jaimeh I think you would know alot of them. There are some major names on there but songs you don't know by name but their sound.

My Woodstock would have been CCR live. Of course I might be just a tad young to have been there......

Mountain is one of my fav. bands, they debuted at woodstock.

Those songs take you back to life back then. The same usually can't be said for this generation of music.

I think most were well established. Leslie West/Mountain was supposed to be the next Cream. Of course this was so ahead of your time.

did you read the link I posted? it has bands that turned it down & ones that didn't make it for odd reasons too. Iron Butterfly has a good 1
