what i'm seeing and reading is that i can have multiple comments on a sheet. i want multiple unique comments on a cell.

for instance, if i write a comment on cell B5, then

Oh...hmmm...I think we usually add to the existing comment and intitial. I dont have excel here or I would check a workbook I have done

from what i can see, the answer is no. only one comment per cell, but can be long. we'll deal. thank you!!

When using comments in 'recent' Excel, multiple users' comments can be appended to the existing comment and notes will show the user name.

But it'll still be a single comment
*and*
annoyingly 'track changes' does NOT track comment changes(!).
