mom was caught in stage 1 ten years ago, still clean. Her sister had a double mastectomy but it has come back 2 years later. Her other

sister found out when it got to her shoulder bones and was dead 2 months later. Yeah, fuck cancer.

mom "beat it" twice... sort of. Then it came back with a vengeance and she rode out the last years living large.

I lived my whole life with mom on a first name basis with Mortality.

I live with the knowledge that it could hit me at anytime, considering my family history. I hope that it won't but know the odds are against
