Herron was mostly just in the right place at the right time for his TDs. Kovaks actually made defensive plays. He was impressive.
Not to take anything away from Herron. Those were two heads-up plays for sure.
It's true. Herron's interception came off of Jake Ryan's tipped pass, and Kovacs forced his fumble recovery
That was a Suh-esque play by Ryan too. It was a great tip. He was also wearing #90 so I was all like 'what?'
and while the D looked very good in spots, holy hell is our secondary going to get shredded against good teams.
yeah. That part was a little scarier. But the blitzing helped.
