Just returned from an Episcopal "high" funeral service. Very interesting. Very Catholic-like but also some obvious fundamental differences

The basic structure was the same. Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of Eucharist, Communion but simpler.
Many of the prayers were very similar but worded differently.
The Eucharistic prayers were quite different, seemed to lack the depth of scriptural meaning that we use.
The most obvious difference was what seemed to be a relaxed understanding of what the bread/wine represent.
I couldn't tell if they believe in a Real Presence or not. It wasn't clear just based on what I heard.
I'm happy to report on what I experienced, but I'm definitely not an expert on Episcopal liturgy!
I have a friend who was raised Catholic but switched to Episcopalian due to not believing in the Pope's authority & apostolic sucession.
