Usually, if you install the software from the CD that came with the cam, it has a utility for doing such things that's pretty easy.

paradiseali It works from my Movie Maker. Use the File/Video Capture option and select your cam from there.

Well, Vista could be the issue. There seems to be a bunch of software...even preinstalled stuff..that doesn't work right without a patch.

I say that because we had similar issues, even with Microsoft's own software (Office 2K3) and Vista until we applied a patch for Office.
