Aha! I've got it! There is stuff in the default arguments.txt file which is being added after the -url, and it doesn't like it.

It looks like arguments.txt is appended after it, yes. So I will have to temporarily rename arguments.txt.

sees that gridargs.dat on Linux does not interfere in this way....
