I don't really know, because the brand is an entire line of professional shampoos; the same kind they use in salons.

I have a warning though. Some friends say that the Gingko shampoo makes their hair stiff. But that's only because it's not like...

...the other shampoos like Rejoice and Sunsilk that have conditioner with it.

Personally, it made my hair soft. But if you find that it makes your hair stiff, using conditioner would be fine.
