I can't imagine that someone could use lion with a 2G memory. Maybe they only open a page in a browser.

I use it with 3GB RAM, it makes me plan to buy a MacBook Air in the end of this year.

4GB is not enough for me. Because I have to open 10 pages in Chrome at a time.

That's true. Because one can not upgrade memory himself, the basic version of MBA may be native with 2G RAM.

People who need for extra RAM should pay extra money for upgrade.
