Take the horse and food back into your inventory and then rez the food out, set to everyone, then the horse. Remember to set home and range.

I cant i took it back and re rezzed and now its gone i cant find it anywere!

Then you need to file a missing horse ticket. They'll return him to you. But check your lost and found first.
