its a study desk that has a place for me to lock up my heavy bag so I can walk to the coffee store without lugging a 60 pound bag around!

at UNM they have "carols," which are like tiny offices that you can get once you've passed your comprehensive exams.

adds they're in the library, & intended for research, but they lock.
