the cops who came out with guns and had to shoot one of them in the street. The other was taken to the pound to be put down.

had to write out a sworn statement to the cops. Fire dept. had to clean off the street and my front porch for blood and other things.

Oh my! No idea who the owner was? That's... just dumb to let dogs wander that way! Are you ok?

I'm okay. Came inside and started cleaning to take my mind off of it. Didn't really break down until just a bit ago. The dogs were from a

house two houses down from us. They're always getting loose in the neighborhood, but they never charged me like that before. The cops have

been complained to about them a couple times. Don't think anyone on our block is sad to see them go. I'm just glad they weren't out when I

walking the kids to or from school.

And yeah, Tanarian, I did kind of break down and cry a little. I feel bad for the puppy. All the owners had to do was walk her a few times

a day, and not let her out in the backyard, and this would never have happened.

I feel bad for all of you. Those dogs were failed by a human's lack of responsibility for their dependents, for one.

I know you said you were jumped - did they actually bite you, too? You didn't say how you were hurt.

No, they didn't get me. They got my brother in law and my husband, though. I probably would have been bitten if the husband hadn't been on

the porch waiting for me to get home, and was ready to distract.

And yeah, I feel bad for those doggies too. I'm mostly mad at the owners.
