so excited! the Nina and the Pinta are traveling through my town, and fave park tomorrow morning and we are going to see it!
latest #15
I wish I had known that they could have been toured. my hubs would have LOVED that. he is sad he is missing out on seeing them.
ooooohhhh! that is so cool!!!
How cool is THAT?! Lucky!
we can't go see them in Ft Smith this weekend, but maybe next. it's 2 hours away I think. my hubs would enjoy it though!!
and I am also fascinated to see how the dam at the park is maneuvered to allow them passage through.
just to knock the coolness factor down, yes, we are still in Arkansas.... it's passing through the river along Toad Suck Park. Toad Suck.
LOVE the name for the park! That's awesome!
it makes me laugh everytime and remember where I am. but it is a gorgeous park right along the river. a farm is next to it so kids pet
horses and sheep. i can't wait. I am giddy!!!
never forget being in the middle of nowhere & I-50 STOPPED! you had to exit - at a high school (hello danger!) and then pick it up again.
I-40 - not 50. This was in Arkansas. And, it was the middle of the night. I wonder how many drunks plow onto that football field?
ya know, I've found this area to be much more wholesome than Texas. very restrictive alcohol sales and amazingly high church attendance.
