just breathed faintly. He had no idea that she was around...
frowned quietly, she set the clip board down and stood up to lean over him, placing a gentle kiss against his forehead. "Wake up soon.."
's fingers twitched a bit, and he made a small sound.
blinks and looks down at him, she slipped her hand into his. "Søren..?"
makes another small sound and tilts his head ever so slightly.
perks up a little, though her expression stayed the same, she placed her hand lightly on his cheek.
couldn't help but lean into it. He hadn't felt a warm touch in so long...
smiles a little at how he leaned into her hand. "Søren.. 'S me.. It's Astrid."
mumbles quietly, keeping his eyes closed.
frowns a little, she didn't catch what he said.. "Hm..?"
opens his eyes sligthly, looking in her general direction. "W-who's... Astrid...?"
goes a little wide-eyed looking at him for a moment. "Nice joke Søren, that 'sn't funny. I wasn' gone for that long."
frowns. "Who's S-søren...?"
frowns at that. "Y' are..?" She bit her lip for a moment. "Y' don' remember 'nythin?"
just closes his eyes and leans into the pillow. His mind was blank.
frowns quietly still, she kept the hand against his cheek. "Min älskling.. Y' hit y'er head a few times while I was gone.." She was worried.
makes a sound and just leans on her hand more. "Warm..."
nods a little, she bit her lip wondering if he even remember he was a country..
didn't remember much of anything right now. He just knew he was tired.
sighs quietly. "Jus' rest, ja?" She frowned, not wanting him to strain himself right now.
nods faintly and goes back to sleep.
sits back in the chair, she went back to doing some paper work she hadn't done.
A doctor comes in a bit later to check up on him.
looks at the doctor quietly, she was frowning.
He was actually surprised to see someone here. He hadn't seen anyone visit him since he was brought in. "Hej."
nods a little to him. "Ah, hej.."
started taking the respirator off him. "What is your relation to him?"
blinks at this but she looked at him. "'M his girlfriend."
He nods a little at that and puts a few things away. "I see. There's no need to worry."
blinks and shakes her head for a second. "He doesn't remember who he 's... or who I 'm..."
frowns a little at that. "I'm not surprised. Patients who had injuries like his tend to have amnesia. It's hard to say how long it lasts. Or
if they even get their memory back at all."
frowns and bites her lip for a second. "How much 'f a chance 's there 'f his mem'ry comin back?"
He shrugs and looks him over. "Again, it's hard to say. Some times just bringing them to familiar places jogs some memories. Everyone is
frowned a little still and nodded. "When can he come home?"
Sighs and shrugs. "Depends if he's woken up any time recently."
if he had realized she would have had to talk to him to know he couldn't remember anything. "I jus' talked t' 'im."
He looks at her. "Oh, really?" He looked down at him. "If that's true, then you can take him home now."
blinks and she looked at Søren, she was slightly scared of trying to deal with him. She reminded herself that she used to be a viking, she
could and would be able to do this. She swore it. So she reached over slowly so shake his shoulder a little. "Søren..?"
makes a small sound and shifted."We can help get him in a wheelchair, that'd make it easier to bring him to your car." The doctor mentioned.
nods a little. "Ja, tack." She would be glad of that. She squeezed his hand lightly, hoping he would respond.
squeezed back faintly... The doctor got a wheelchair and starting cleaning up a bit. He got a few people to help him move the Dane into the
chair. He was too heavy for one person for some reason.
could lift him by herself, even if it was a little difficult. She kissed his head. "Wake up, 'm takin y' home.."
nods ever so faintly. He was still weak and tired...
smiles a little bit. "Open y'er eyes.." She looked at the wheel chair.
