That is awesome! Something that always cracks me up is when I'm out and about and ask a stranger (or they offer) to take a picture of me and

friends. They hold the camera away and can't figure out how to see the screen. 'You have to look through the lens, it's like old school.'

It's just a digital SLR, are we THAT far from remembering what cameras were like?!

I was once approached by a concerned individual as I was laying on a sidewalk shooting a photo.

I have been laying in the dirt, upside down over rivers, leaning at impossible angles with city shots, etc.

I always get strange looks when I am at Descanso Gardens when taking photos and come away with dirt and mud all over some days.

I would love to get a digital SLR, but that's 2 years away right now at least.

I always take pictures of my parents taking artsy pictures.

the most scary time was when I decided that I should lay on a dock & dangle myself & my camera over the edge to take a picture of a frog.

Its a good picture though - well worth the dangle!

I agree. well worth the effort and fear to dangle over the water with your camera.
