It was an old cat that meowed outside my window most nights - sounded like someone doing vocal cord surgery with a pair of scissors.

Well, he just seems to have laid down and died. I managed to get a ladder and now he's back in their care.

I'm sorry for him, mostly because I dont think he had a very good owner and so I doubt he was well looked after.
