comes home, frowning deeply. He hadn't slept in a few days...

set the book down and moved Loki off her lap. She picked up the small wrapped box beside her and headed to the door. "Søren?" She said.

heard a familiar voice. He looked over to her. "... Astrid? Is it really ye...?"

nods, raising an eyebrow. "Ja?" She came up to him and kissed him lightly. "Y' look tired.."

nods a bit, smiling before just collapsing.

gasps catching him the best she could. "S-Søren?!" She started to bring him to the couch. Odin he was heavy!

pretty much out. He had used up a bit of energy recently.

what he had been doing lately.

had been searching for her...

honestly needed to stop leaving him notes. He never read them.

doesn't think they apply to him.

normally writes 'Søren' in big red letters. She even put the notes in places he would normally see.

... didn't see these ones.

shocked that he doesn't. She even put one on a four pack of beer she put in the fridge for him!

... just ripped it off to get at the beer. Why would someone put something on his beer?

that he's a little dumb sometimes.. She set him on the couch sighing quietly, touching his hair lightly.

makes a small sound and shifts his head away from her.

frowns a little, but thinks nothing of it. She would let him sleep and she would go back to reading.

would sleep peacefully... He was so tired...

glad, she settled back to her place on the floor and went back to reading.

a little more pale than normal... and cold.

looks at him, she got up and got him a blanket, and put it over him. She was starting to worry.

shifts a bit when he had the blanket on him, shivering some more. It helped a bit at least.

what she should do.. Maybe get him a heating pad..?

wanted more than that...

didn't know what he wanted as he was sleeping.

sighs and closes her book, she went and got him a heating pad and then came back, she put the heating pad on him, before lifting his head

and shoulders, sitting on the couch, and placing him on her lap.

makes a few quiet sounds before turning onto his side and curling a bit closer to her.

puts an arm over him, rubbing his back.

shivers a little at that but leans into her touch. She was so warm..

would stay until he woke up, she was glad that she was warm.

started to stir a few hours later. He was a bit warmed, but not as warm as he'd like to be.

had fallen asleep a little while ago. Loki was sleeping on Søren's side, and Freyja was cuddled up to the small of his back.

mumbles quietly as he stretched out and sprawled, pretty much pushing Loki and Freyja off the couch.

stirs as both the animals made unhappy noises as they fell to the floor. "Hm..?"

curled up more to her. She was waaarm.

rubs his arm lightly. "Y' still cold?"

nods a little. He looked up at her, blinking and rubbing his eyes.

nods at that, she looked down at him quietly. "Jus' rest, ja?"

nods, but sits up a little and leans on her more. Well, more so her chest.

doesn't say anything, but she let him lay on her chest.

wrapped his arms around her and held her close. He had missed her so much.

strokes his hair lightly.

smiles faintly. He liked being with her..

liked being with him too. Even if he was dim sometimes.

wasn't dim. Or so he thought.

knew he could be smart when he wanted to be. But there was times when he just sort of just over looked everything.

coughs into his arm, cursing quietly afterwards.

frowns. "Y'er sick..."

shakes his head. "Nej..." He just coughed more.

nods to him, starting to stroke his hair. "Ja, y' are. Jus' rest."

mumbles and nuzzles more into her chest.

pets his hair still, she wanted him to rest.

resting peacefully..

glad of that.

started to fall asleep...

glad that he was starting to sleep.

exhausted..

just wanted him to sleep then, she would stay with him until he wasn't tired anymore.

just went to sleep on her chest then..

glad... He missed her..

missed him too, she hated leaving him.

glad she still cared...

obviously cared! She couldn't believe he would think she didn't!

just been alone for a while, so it was weird to him.

didn't mean to. She would request to work from here tomorrow.

sighs and plays with his hair, she just wanted him to sleep for now.
