I'm using a logitech optical USB from the late 1990s that's still going strong (I've replaced springs and done maintenance).

I use a very simple USB optical wheel mouse. Had a side-button mouse at work for years before I knew it had those buttons.

well, think about it. Do you REALLY get cords tangled up a lot? How pretty must it be to merit wireless/BT?

i've dorked with wireless headsets for a while, i'm on the fence with them. never get the range they advertise.

I use wireless mice on all the laptops at home, but at work I actually like knowing I'll never get interrupted due to a low battery.

Have to hang out in SL w/o moving for a few? No biggie. Lose my mouse while giving a webinar? Bad form. Cabled wins at work

i dont like the wireless mice. i've gone through 2 of them. i really meant do i need a super-duper optical thing, or just a plain ole mouse
Sean

Oh. Well, then. I'm a huge fan of a plain ole mouse

the only drawback to cabled things is that Bruwyn and Myst still occasionally chew cables.

My optical mouse was acting up and it turns out that it doesn't work on white or shiny surfaces.
