walked passes him and paused before he glanced back, if that was who he thought it was...
watches him walk by and unconsciously makes a face but then remembers /social/ so he smiles instead hoping maybe the other -
wanted to just keep walking, more than anything but then Greg would
probably have a thing or two to say about that. He stopped and frowned darkly before he offered a bit of a greeting.
grins at the fact that frowned first, that was amusing. He waved at England a smile plastered on his face. "Hey, mate. What's up?"
stayed a decent distance away, but still within polite conversational distance. "Just walking... And you?"
He laughed noticing he wasn't going to come any closer. "Just sitting then I guess. It's a nice day. How's your walk going?" He leans -
back against the back of the bench and does a quick look up and down Arthur.
tucked his hands in his pockets as he watched him, "it's going swimmingly." His tone came out a little more sarcastic than he had intended.
"Until you saw me? The audacity of that Aussie talking to me!" He laughed and shrugged. He could keep walking if he wanted to.
frowned at that and shook his head. "No... that is not what I meant." He pushed a hand through his hair.
"I know I'm not presuming you meant anything, I'm just joking with you." Although it was fun to see him get agitated.
doesn't know why everyone likes to see him agitated. He nodded a bit before he gave him a small smile, "ah I see." He shifted slightly. "How
are you doing Australia?"
Grins back at him when he sees him smile. "That's better, good on ya! I'm good, how ya going? Busy? You can sit down if you want -
but I don't want to keep you if you're busy."
shook his head as he took a seat, his hands leaving his coat pockets. "No I'm not busy, and I have been fine. Haven't seen you in...
"Hmm, fair enough. I've been busy or something." He shrugs, he wasn't awfully good at keeping up with people, something he should work on he
thought. He looked at England sideways, "If you miss me I can stop by more often." He teases unable to say it without sniggering.
gave him a look at that, "if I said I missed you you'd have some sort of smart remark for that." He shrugged, "how are you getting on with
"Too right I would! You couldn't miss me, plus you'd think there was something wrong if I didn't!" He laughs again, talks with Arthur -
weren't really that bad. "With Brett? Good! Why?" Brett's name popping up made him suspicious.
shrugged a bit as he leaned back on the bench, "You're quite right, I would think there's something wrong with you if you didn't." He
paused at the why, "I was just wondering."
"Yea, he's brilliant, perfect!" He thought for a second then blurted out "Howz it going with Scotland?" He looked around as if the
conversation might make him magically pop up.
stared for a long moment before he flushed darkly and looked away. "He's perfectly fine," he nodded with that remembering what happened the
noted the flush and laughed. "Good maybe he'll stay off my back then!" He could hope anyways.
shook his head as he laughed dryly with that, "oh I highly doubt he will stay off anyone's back."
"Bugger. I can hope though right?" He sighed and made a face before ruffling his hair in frustration. "I better beat him in Rugby in -
November. Ah! Whatever. So what are your plans today?"
"Hope with Gregory is like hoping it will be sunny for longer than a week in my country." He sighed a bit, "I was going to go finish some
"You do live in a pretty gloomy place. You have a lot of work to do?" He crosses his arms and shifts slightly so he was more facing Arthur.
nodded as he looked over at him. "Enough work to do, I'm doing work for a few other people as well."
"Who and why?" He looked disgusted at the thought, one person's paperwork was more than enough.
frowned a bit, "Wales and few others, but it's not a huge problem." He shrugged.
"Ah, not for amazing England! Should I let you go then? You really don't have to sit here and talk to me if you have other things to -
do." He runs his hand through his hair again as habit and watches random people scurry by.
watched him for another moment before he got up, "I won't bother you any longer." He nodded with that and turned to start walking again.
"Later, mate." He waved half heartedly watching a dog walk past. Maybe he should give up socializing sober and just head to a bar.
thought that conversation went fairly decently, better than he had expected anyway.
