I can't seem to find anything local that sells spinning stuff. I am sort of the want it now type person. lol

a class would really be best-- spinning seems (to me) like something better learned in person

Most people start with a Kundert or Ashford (the Ashfords I've seen look a lot like the Louets SE has); me, I'm leaning towards the Kundert

colors, though some people like a convertible spindle (those would be the ones marked Hi lo) for more versatility..... Are you on Ravelry?
