whatever I do, it drops these days..so I think I will just let it be for now and focus on other things (work for instance)

wonder if we are compared or it works in relation to all other users or is it individual based?
yojibee

good question! I noticed that many of the top plurkers also lost karma this week..

Maybe we just always reply on each other plurks? Replies helps the karma go up..
ccmehil

yes but if it's relative to all others we'll always be lower as those more active regardless of what we do or ? 32.28 for me now

so it's prob just number based but 10 higher than me with much more activity on responses I bet it's relative to all users

ccmehil

otherwise you would be much higher or?
yojibee

I guess it is relative to all..I had a feeling of this last week, because I noticed that even the plurk team members are "only" at around 60

the fact that spammers/people who plurk with no content loose karma though
ccmehil

but if it's relative how accurate can it be? then again might be proof it's not relative to all users but then need a baseline right?

this will be as much fun as trying to find the Digg algorithm a couple of years back

LOL all part of their marketing ploy I think

odd how people focus on the "reward" systems so much as opposed to just usign the system
yojibee

probably not accurate at all..just a way to keep us plurking away. The "normal" user wouldn't ask these questions

I am finally having my first day of "real" work here in Norway tomorrow (with a customer), so less time here as well

noticed that if I have this plurk open it autoupdates the responses even while I am typing - cool

I also love the autoupdate feature..makes it better for conversations than Twitter for instance
