....isn't....quite sure how to take that...but thanks him anyway.
would just say being old in general sucks or at least the really bad old jokes. D<
"Be careful you might bust a hip" or "Don't strain yourself too hard you might give yourself a heart attack." OR "Are you sure you can
handle that, you're not as young as you used too be."
quirks a brow and nods. "It is."

have fun with this. "I'll give you three tries and if you don't get it right you're paying for lunch."
shakes his head. "If you're that bad at them than I'm getting free lunch so guess wisely."
raises both brows. "Let's just say easily over 2000."
a little better about that. "Yes, I'm positive. I wouldn't lie about my age unless it was to lie about being younger."
laughs at that. "Yeah, I've met some interesting people but never someone names Xena." No, Greece was from somewhere near him. Bl
nods, he'd have to go look it up late.
nods. "I remember hearing about him. I was a bit busy with my own thing but lets go with yes."
laughs. "He's eyebrows were always huge. That's one aspect that never changed."
Sadik
thinks 13 years ago
that's fair. "Yes, well, it wasn't hard."
nods. "I feel like that's a quality that will never leave him."
shakes his head at that. "Okay, you're actually guessing that one. Two chances, go."
him a pointed look. "Because you should already know. Go. Guess."
won't budge. "Guess. Give it at least one try. You can ask for hints."
frowns. "He lives near me....unfortunately."
him a disbelieving look. "Not even close."
grabs the map and stares at it. "You do realise this is only a map of you...right?"
him a bewildered look. "You won't find me on here....or anyone else...no wonder your geography sucks ass." He murmurs the last part
's lips thin out knowing that wasn't the case. "I'm going to take you to buy an actual map...I'm blaming Arthur for your poor
education. Where's your nearest shopping centre?"
now very worried for him. "Does your globe still have empires on it?"
"Well, yes, because the world has changed quite a bit and if your globe isn't updated you'll think certain countries exist when they don't

frowns. "I still think we should get you a proper map." Bl
tries to think of a way that will convince him. "Do you know what's going on in Greece today?"
shrugs. "I have no idea if he does but everything going on their is because he liked being stupid and ignorant and didn't buy a map." Not
even close to the truth but he'd see if it would work.
sees that it doesn't but feels a little jealous that America does indeed have good neighbours like Canada. "But you can't only rely on him."
like he may have gotten America all wrong...well, except for the super hero part, that he knew wasn't true. "We do all learn from our
mistakes." He studies the other quietly. "It's good you have them backing you up in that case. Don't take advantage of it, you don't want to
nods. "I'm sure they are." Probably wouldn't have expressed it out loud unless he was angry with the other nation or drunk. "But you still
eyes him but decides he'll tell him. "Which one do you want to know?"
nods. "My human name is Sadik but my real name, now at least, is Turkey."
keeps forgetting that his name had a different meaning in english. "Right, sure, the bird. I honestly don't really care which name you
use. Whichever you fancy more."
shrugs. "Well use that name then."
watches him slightly amused. "Having trouble?"
nods, he was much better with names. "That's fair."
chuckles lightly. "I'll try but remember to be a stranger either."
quirks a brow. "Well, you have a long time ago but perhaps it was too long to remember to clearly. I give great tours." >D
nods. "Yes, we used to be big trading partners in the 1800's and 1900's...or at least the early 1900s."
laughs lightly. "I can understand your civil war taking up most of the memory space for that century."
nods. "Yes, I do, then again, I have been living for a long time so remembering things like that has become much easier for me."
chuckles lightly. "Yes, I really have. I could probably answer a lot of your questions historical wise. If you were ever curious."
nods, he could probably answer a fair deal on that subject. "I could try my hand at answering your questions. Some I may be rusty with
always up for coffee. "Let's do that. I know a few good coffee shops around this area." He says as he starts heading towards one hoping the
ushers him into one and leads him to a nice table with an equally nice view.
turns his attention to the American. "So what would you like?"
quirks a brow amused but nods. "Have you ever tried Turkish Coffee?"
chuckles a little at that. "Sure, I'll go get us some." He gets up and heads to the counter ordering two cups of Turkish coffee before
heading back to Alfred. "They'll bring it to us."
leans back into his chair. "So what kind of questions do you have for me?"
's lip curves up at that, the boy watched too many action movies. "Have you ever heard of the legend of Isis and Osiris?"
nods and was about to start when the coffee's are brought towards them. He thanks the waiter before going on with the story. "Alright, the
legend has it that Osiris was the king of Egypt. Of course, one can't be king without an envious brother, right." He smiles. "Anyway, Seth,
the brother of Osiris had plotted to kill him to ascend to throne. And so Seth fashioned a beautiful sarcophagus that he challenged
individuals to lie in and whoever fit in it perfectly would win it. Osiris was encouraged to try and when he laid in the sarcophagus it
sealed shut and thrown into the Nile." He pauses to take a sip of his coffee.
smirks. "The sarcophagus eventually washed up on the Phoenician coast at a place called Byblos were it supposedly embedded itself in a
cider tree that was eventually used as a pillar to uphold a palace for the King of Byblos. Anyway, Osiris loyal wife Isis found out about
this and went in search for him. It didn't take her long to find him and when she did she brought him back to Egypt hiding his body in the
delta marches were she managed to revive him enough to get impregnated."
shakes his head. "One day, Seth, while out hunting, came upon the body of his brother and cut it up into 14 pieces. He scattered them all
over Egypt specifically dropping the penis in the Nile where it was then eaten by a fish. Isis, of course, heard about this and again
went in search for him and wherever she found a piece of her husband she erected a temple of worship. Although, there are some legends that
say that Isis actually re-assembled Osiris and from there got impregnated but that's just one very strange version. Anyway, after finding
and erecting all the temples in name of her husband she gave birth to his son named Horus, who avenged his father through a tribunal of Gods
who found Seth guilty and appointed Horus as rightful king of Egypt. Osiris then became king of the afterlife."
shrugs. "You could ask Egypt. It is his legend." He smiles.
taps his cheek thoughtfully. "Give me a situation and I'll see if I have one that matches."
chuckles. "Alright, heroes." He sips at his coffee pensively.
had not been expecting such a question and gently places his cup down. "Well that depends who you're talking too. Some would say I'm a
tyrant and a good for nothing monster."
glances up pensively before turning his gaze back to Alfred. "A little of both. There were times I was more of a tyrant than others and
other times more of a hero. I would definitely say I was both."
studies him curiously. "How would you view yourself?"
nods. "We all do have stuff we aren't proud of. So you think you're mainly hero? Why?"
chuckles lightly but nods not saying any more than that.
can't help but agree with that un-said statement. "So why do you like Batman and Superman so much?"
nods a little. "Yeah, that is something to aspire too. Did you know I have a town and a river named Batman?"
shrugs. "Like any small town and river." He chuckles.
can't help but chuckle at that. "Well if you really want to come visit the city I'm sure I can arrange something."
nods with a grin. "That you would and it's an area that I don't usually visit that often."
nods once again. "We could even make it a road trip and I can show you other things as well."
"There are indeed but I'll have to look them up so we go on the safe ones."
admires that. "Well, a lot of people say that my lands look a lot like those of Mexico's. At least some areas."
smiles. "Lets plan it and then pick a good time to go."
"Yes, we should. We could even invite others too since a car fits more than two people."
taps his finger to his cheek pensively. "Who do we both like and don't mind coming along?"
chuckles, he should have expected that from America. "What about Trinidad?"
nods. "Yes, that would be her or we could also invite that neighbour of yours to the north...what was his name again?"
points. "Yeah, that kid."
Sadik
thinks 13 years ago
then they should invite him. "You should let him know. I think he'd be a little creeped out if I called."
smiles. "Good and I could get a hold of Trinidad. SO when works for you?"
could do the same if it really came down to it. "Well get hold of your brother and I'll get a hold of Trini and once we know their schedules
we can make it more concrete."
smiles. "Alright, I'll call you later in that case."
chuckles. "I won't. I'll call you after I get a hold of Trini."
nods. "Sure, exactly like that."
amused by the American but also finishes his drink.
smirks. "It's good. Glad you liked it too."
"You should try the desserts in that case." >D
laughs. "You should. Definitely."
