frowned a little and came up behind him, putting a hand on her back. "Søren..?"

makes a small sound and looks at her. "... Oh. Ye're real."

raises an eyebrow. "Huh..? What do y' mean by that?"

smiles a bit. "I've been havin' hallucinations lately."

stares at him. "Why...?"

shrugs as he finished putting food in the bowls and putting them down for the pets. "Just have..."

"When was the lsat time y' slept..?"

shrugs. He couldn't remember really... just that it was a while ago.

sighs. "What's been goin on?"

runs a hand through his hair, smiling wirily. "Nothin' much..."

"Don' lie t' me. What's happenin'?" She was worried.

smiles to her. "Nothin'."

"Søren, don' lie t' me." She could tell when he lied.

smiles more. "M'not lyin'."

shakes her head. "Y' are."

sighs a bit. "Ye dun need to worry about it..."

frowns. "Søren, what's this 'bout?"

sighs and leans against the counter. "Dorthe and Nikolaas had a spat... Dorthe went to change everything so it was like they never met, so

she went to sacrifice herself to Hel so she could change everything. I tried to stop her by pushin' her in water, but that just finished

the spell... And it backfired. The water started to freeze over and I could hear Hel coming to take her away... but she said a spell that

locked half her soul into a necklace, so Hel couldn't take her. I eventually broke through the ice and pulled her out, then brought her

home. So she's blind, and is only half there... Now she's gone and taught Nikolaas's rabbit to speak old Norse, not sure how, but she did

and apparently the rabbit said a spell, that turned Dorthe into a blind child, with rabbit ears and tail." He took a deep breath. "That's

what this is all about... Oh, and because I don't want to lose my soul or sacrifice myself for her, even though she's my twin, I've been

runnin' around doin' things for some people. I keep tryin' to help, but... it doesn't seem to work. She just keeps gettin' worse... And it's

hard not to think of just sacrificin' myself now. I've not slept in weeks, and I'm just... so tired..." It was obvious that he had been up

for an extensive period of time. "I just don't want to take the easy way out if I can help it... but she seems to keep pushin' me there..."
