anything from nikon or canon is good. i'd stay away from the other entry market slr because there are so many peoplw with nikon and canon

that way you could use craigslist or ebay and get a lens from someone. the other lower market camera bodies (i.e. sony, fugi, etc) don't

have many users so it will be much easier to get good lenses for nikon and canon.

we have a nikon d50 but they don't sell those anymore. you can get a dslr (digital single lens r?) at almost any price point.

check out craigslist and ebay. i know a lot of photographers get rid of their older stuff that way. or you could go to a camera store.
