if the other wanted to come hiking with him? To beat off the boredom.
((Tell me where to go if I'm being a bother xD ))
( You're not being a bother xD <3 )
would love to go hiking. She could use a little fresh air. :3 She gives Greg a call to find out where they would be meeting.
he should let her be the guest this time, and suggests Scotland. He has a lot of bonnie hikes, and good pubs too. She's also welcome to his_
let's him know that she will be along soon, then~
gets the room cleaned up then, and the hiking gear ready. Putting together something simply to eat, he's got everything ready for leaving_
eventually makes it to his home, wearing something comfortable but warm. She knocks on his door before fixing her hair up in a pony tail.
answers the door, letting her in with a welcoming smile. 'How are you?' he asks, looking for any bags to take.
a backpack on her shoulders. "Hey~ I'm alright. How about you?" :3
offers to take it to the guest room for her. 'Alright,' he replies, 'You up for a cuppa before we head?'
- "I could go for tea." She smiles and hands him her backpack to him, thanking him softly before heading inside.
smiles, 'The kitchen is just on your left.' He goes to put the bag in the guest room, soon returning to put on the kettle. 'How many sugars_
nods and heads into the kitchen to take a seat. She laughs softly, brushing a stray lock of hair away from her face. "A lot."
places a small sugar bowl infront of her, a small spoon as well. 'I'll let you deal with it then.'
- "Dank u~" She smiles, looking about the kitchen. "I love your home. It's lovely."
wasn't like his brother, he didn't cling to the past and kept his home rather sparse and modern. Atleast in the city... it was pretty much a
bachelor pad so the compliment goes down well. He pours them both a tea, 'Ohh ta hun,' he says with a bright smile, sitting opposite her.
adds sugar to her tea. About four spoonfuls before stirring idly. "Welcome." She sips from the super sweet tea now, content.
only adds two to his own, with a little milk thrown in to make it perfect. 'So... you feeling better Elyse?' he asks. She seemed a bit_
- "Much." She was done with moping around. Smiling at him, she set her cup down gently. "Do you hike often?"
a small nod, 'It's sometimes the only thing you have to do up here... I was thinking we'd climb Ben Macdui today?'
shrugs her left shoulder. "I'm up for anything." :3
smiles, 'Ben Macdui it is then.' He sips his tea, 'Do you hike often?'
shakes her head. "Not really. I'll admit I'm not very outdoorsy."
nods, he now knows not to be too harsh on her. 'It'll be a nice change of pace then, eh?' He might aim for the mid way point of the summit_
now, he didn't want to be too cruel.
- "Don't get me wrong.." She smiled brightly at him. "I have excellent endurance. I just don't hike."
raises an eyebrow, he really can't help his mind going to the gutter there. 'I don't doubt that,' he replies, before finishing off his tea._
didn't notice. She nods, taking one last sip of tea before standing up. "Ready~"
goes to grab his bagpack from the livingroom, before going to the hall to get ready. He puts on his hiking boots, vaguely wondering if_
Belguim brought sensible shoes.
bought hiking shoes~! She was fully prepared. >w<
glad. Although he hopes the new shoes don't cause her any problems... He lets her leave first, opening the door for her. ((Skip to the_
enjoying the air, the slight chill and the sight of so much green. "It's so pretty out here." She breathed happily as she walked alongside-
grins brightly, 'Thank you.' He really prided himself on his countryside. He continues walking, making sure to keep to Belgium's pace.
- "Have you ever camped out here?" :3
nods, 'Yep. Usually when it's warmer though.'
- "It looks like a great place to go camping."
nods, 'It is... If you're careful.' He gives her a smile, leading her further along the trail. 'Unfortunately a lot of kids get seriously_
hurt camping in places like this. Usually because they're drinking.'
looks a little sad at that. "Well, they should be more careful." But, kids will be kids, she figured. She reached out to take his arm-
-upon almost tripping over a rock. BT "Sorry." >///> What was that about being careful?
helps the girl right herself, amused now that he could tell she wasn't hurt. 'No harm done,' he says, with a soft smile. 'As long as you're_
alright?' he asks, just to double check.
blushes further. "Fine, fine. Just... silly rock jumped in my way, is all." She brushed her hair back a bit as they walked. "Is there any-
- wildlife we should look out for?" Change the subject. BT
smiles, nodding in understanding. 'Err... Well, supposedly there's a Leopard that's been let loose on the highlands... but I doubt he's here
.' He grins, 'If we're lucky we'll see some Scottish Wild Cats... they're just a little bit bigger than a house cat.'
smiles, a little excited. Wild cats~ She pulled her camera from her back pocket and turned it on, turning on the video function to tape-
-as they walked. "Anything else?" She asked, pointing the camera in Greg's direction.
's cheeks turn a shade of red that challenges his hair. He never did well with Cameras... 'Errr,' he starts, voice hoarse until he clears_
his throat. 'Just your regular wild life poppet.'
notices his discomfort and smiles, directing the camera at the trail ahead of them. "Such an eloquent tour guide." She teases him.
huffs, almost pouting. 'Well, I could have lied and told you we'd see Haggis running about, one leg shorter than the other.'
laughs. Aww. She makes sure to get his pout in the shot before directing the camera forward. "I'm only teasing."
might have to pry that out of her hands later. 'And you seem to have a Masters in it.' He reaches for the camera, 'Why don't you let me be_
the camera man? Don't want to deprive the world of your gorgeous smile, right?'
steps out of reach, giggling. "Nice try, hun. But I'm the cameraman here." She winks at him.
rolls his eyes, starting up ahead. 'If I wasn't so forgiving, I'd be suspicious about you wanting a video of me, in my countryside.' He_
winks, cheeks still red but somewhat coming to terms with the camera.
giggles. "Right." She stuck her tongue out at him as they walked. "How much farther?"
blinks, taking the chance to have a look around. 'We're about half way...' To the half way point. She really wasn't the outdoorsy type.
that isn't her fault. She never liked being out in the woods and stuff. Too many bad things happen in the woods. "Really? Feels like we've-
fakes being wounded. 'Good to know my company makes time pass longer,' he teases.
gasps and goes to hug his side as they walk. "That's not what I meant at all!" D:
continues walking, turning his head away to hide his smile. 'Really now?' he asks.
almost whines as she squeezes him, not caring how awkward this made walking. "I'm serious. I really like your company."
looks back, face kept rather straight. '... you might have to prove it now.' He stops, so that they don't trip.
stops as well, holding the camera down, but it's off now. She let's go of him, looking genuinely apologetic for having hurt his feelings. -
... feels bad nowHe reaches forward to ruffle her hair. 'How about smiling again?' he asks, tilting his head.
blinks, idly brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear, but she smiles up at him. "Good?"
smiles back. 'Beautiful,' he corrects, before starting to walk again... He was eager to get to the mid way point as well, if only for a cup_
of tea. Yes, he brought a flask of it.
better, oblivious to the fact that he'd been faking it. She smiles, keeping a hold on his arm as they walked on.
would allow her to remain oblivious, thinking it didn't hurt her. He glances towards her before asking, 'So what would you rather be doing_
just now, if Hiking isn't your thing?'
hums thoughtfully. "Painting. Maybe under the shade of a big tree. Music playing; something soothing." She sighs contently.
nods... it sounds a little boring to him, but whatever rocked your boat. 'You should show me some of your art some time.'
just.. really likes drawing and painting. And generally being.. not in the woods. "You wouldn't want to see that."
challenges, 'I wouldn't have asked if I didn't.'
nods. "Suppose you're right. It's not very good mind you."
shakes his head, a smile playing on his lips. 'You see every little mistake in it probably. So much so that you miss the overall beauty of_
hums, her lips tugging at the corners, trying to hold back a smile. "Never looked at it that way. An artists' curse, I guess."
