I had 2 flautists, 2 clarinetists, and one alto sax/bassoon player--all my girls played. Neither of the boys did.

I played the French Horn, my sister the Baritone. Dad was a HS band director and primarily played trumpet.

Mom played clarinet when they were made of metal (sorry Mom).

my two kids are in orchestra. DD plays cello and DS plays viola.
