I really wouldn't either but thought I'd take it to the hospital to pass the time - Plurk and Words With Friends

I use Uniplurk and like it. Another fun word game is 7 little words.

bbryan: I've never heard of that one. I'll have to check it out.

it is basically a word making game. You get 2 minutes to make words. You can only use letters that touch one another
SunCatcher says

So playing it online you're timed? Interesting. So you have to finish the game in one sitting?
brainmusic
there are 3 rounds. You play your 2 minute round, then the person you are playing online plays theirs etc etc
brainmusic
so you only have to play your 2 minute round at one time. You can pause it and go back to it if you want
brainmusic
so once you finish your round, you wait for the other person to do theirs. Just like words with friends in that way
SunCatcher says

Oh ok, got it. So other than the 2 minute play, you can go back to it just like Words With Friends

Once my life calms down (if that's possible lol) after my dad's surgery etc, I'll look into the game :-)

Hmm, I just checked - Mr.Plurk isn't for iPad and Plurkid is $2.99. Hate to buy it if it doesn't work well
brainmusic says

Damn. I had a free version on plurkid for my phone. Well Plurk works, it just crashes.

I tired putting Plurk on and it won't even come up so I removed the app. Oh well. I can still play games on it while my dad rests

I think you can use the actual site from the iPad. Without an app. Using safari.
SunCatcher says

Right, I did that before BUT it wouldn't let me login. I could read plurks, but I couldn't plurk myself. That was months ago. I'll try later
