I'm actually having an emotional meltdown today.

I lost a very good friend Saturday. She died of cancer, and was only 33

She and her husband were as close as Dave and I, and my heart aches for him today so very much

I read his wall posts on fb this morning and still can't stop crying.

He's talking about the dreams he's having, seeing her again, hugging her and not wanting to ever let go

I don't think I could bear to go through it myself. I ran upstairs to Dave and made him promise me that he would do his best

not to die before me.

that really too selfish of a request to make from the person that holds your heart?

it's a bitch to which ever partner survives, I can see why older folks often die within weeks of each other.

for trivia tomorrow. It will be good for him, and all of us. I'm just really hoping I can hold it together for his sake. He's a super

special and wonderful person. He arranged for his wife's hero Karen Pryor to call the wife on the phone

that meant so very much to my friend and lifter her spirit immensely. The world is a sadder place without our sweet Tarsha in it though

Tarsha was diagnosed terminally ill a few weeks before Xmas, and we've spent a lot of time with her and her husband

I'm so very glad that we were able to do that for them before she left
