In my Biology class, I sit next to a guy named Minjae. He's an ESL student, so he's always quiet in class

When we were assigned seatwork a few days ago, I noticed he was looking at the answers I was typing on my computer screen and copying them

I thought maybe it was just a one time thing, so I shrugged it off

anyway, we did this two day lab thingy, which was supposed to be done in groups of 3 or 4

because of the numbers in my class (and how quickly other people partnered up), my group was myself and Minjae

So I did 90% of the lab by myself while he watched, alternating between looking at me when I was explaining stuff to him and reading

korean comics when I wasn't

aaaaaaanyway, there were a series of questions to be handed in about the lab, and I thought they were supposed to be group answers

So after I had written up everything, drawn diagrams in paint, and printed it out, I brought it to school

In class yesterday, he asked me to email it to him so he could have a copy, and I didn't see a problem with that, so I did

At the end of the period, he leaves and comes back with AN IDENTICAL COPY of my paper, with Minjae instead of Scott in the "name" section

I then found out this work was to be done individually

So now, if I go to the teacher and bust Minjae, even though I don't particularly like him, he'll hate me

BUT, he'll have to redo the work and actually have to understand the concepts instead of copying me and bombing a test or two

I just don't know what to do... :/

Brother, trust me. The scorn of a Minjae is a small small price to pay for justice

Individually handwritten letters. You must have worked long, hard hours in MSPaint for that type of quality!

But one thing to consider is if your teacher decides to crack down on the fact you handed in the same assignment. Or would even notice.
