hops up and sits next to him in fox form, staying quiet.
looks at the fox with interest. He hums and then reaches over to pet it. 'Well this doesn't happen every day. Hello.'
tilts his head as he looks up at him, leaning into the patting a little.
smiles. 'Friendly guy, aren't you? Would you like a snack?' He searches his bag for a sandwich he bought himself earlier and holds it out.
blinks at that, balancing delicately on the fence as he leaned in to watch curiously. He sniffs at the sandwich, nibbling gently on one
end to make sure it wasn't harmful before grabbing hold of the whole thing with his teeth and stealing it away. He runs away far
enough to be out of arm's reach before glancing up to see if he's being chased.
'Hey!' His eyes widen and he stretches across the fence uselessly. 'That's not all for you! Give it back, that's my lunch!' He advances_
carefully and slowly so as to not scare the fox off.
amused now, waiting for him to get slightly closer before bolting off again with the sandwich still in his mouth. He disappears from sight
behind a tree, hiding in a bush as he sets down the sandwich to nibble at it.
does not chase animals. Unless they have his lunch. He makes a small noise of annoyance and goes after it. He stalks up to the tree, _
hoping to grab as much of the sandwich back as he can without aggravating the thief.
peers around the tree trunk, 'Hey friend, why not give it back, huh?' He reaches for it.
tugs the sandwich further back into the bushes, mostly so Heracles would have to half burrow in just to grab it. He thought the leaves
in his brown hair looked rather lovely. Kiku didn't mind if he did get it back, he had taken a couple large bites of it already
and was content to leave him the other half.
tugs on the sandwich after wrestling with small snappy branches hitting him all over the place. He then lets go as he sees his sandwich_
been bit to pieces. 'Ah, you damned beast!' He sighs, irritated. He falls back on the grass. 'How am I supposed to bring justice on an_
laughs softly enough that Heracles might not hear it, deciding to cut him some slack. He gently picks up the uneaten half, gingerly
bringing it back out of the bush.
smiles tiredly and strokes the creature's back. 'Thanks, but you've slobbered all over it.' He comments. 'If you have any kids, family_
or something, let them have it.'
leans into the stroking, setting down the sandwich and enjoying the touch. He smiles, hopping up to lay down on Greece's chest. He liked
surprised by the sudden warmness from such a traditionally cautious animal, but he smiles and keeps his chest flat as he scratches behind_
it's ear. 'Oh, well aren't you the grateful one,' He murmurs.
nuzzles his head into the hand on his ear, loving it. He nearly spoke, but realized that was not normal to a human and decided showing
him would be better. Content to let himself be pet for a few minutes, he soon enough stands and climbs off him again, disappearing into the
feeling a lot better until the fox got up and walked away. He half-crawls after it, pausing at the bushes, frowning. 'Hey-you leaving me?'
reappears, nose to nose with him and blinking at him, something wrapped in cloth dragging from his mouth. He drags it fully out of the
bushes, setting it down next to Heracles. Inside the cloth was a handful of gold coins, and though he had created them as an illusion out of
dead leaves, he was going to leave the illusion on until well after they had been spent so as not too trouble the man.
peels back the cloth and stares at them with wide, shocked eyes. 'My, my, who did you rob to get your hands on all these?' He picks up one_
coin and then freezes. He stares at it, feeling magic radiating from it. He looks to the fox curiously. 'Or perhaps you didn't steal_
anything.' He carefully pets the fox again, unsure what was going on. Did the fox take tampered 'coins' from someone, or did it simply_
create them? If it was the latter possibility, then why was it hard to detect magic from the creature?
watches his reaction curiously, tail swishing but enjoying the hand petting him again. He debates a moment, but noticing that the man seemed
to recognize the coins as not real, he smiles his little foxy smile. "They are not stolen, they are a gift for you," he starts, to see
merely arches a brow. He didn't expect him to talk, but it wasn't the first time he'd come across such a being. It may have been the first_
he liked, though. 'They are? Well, that is very kind of you. I'm sure they'll be handy when I buy lunch later - they will continue to be_
like this later, yes?' He asks, grinning in a half-joking manner.
nods. "I can keep them that way for up to a week," he offers. "As a thank you for the sandwich."
not low on money himself, but is still thankful. 'Well, you're welcome, and I thank you for whatever delightful meal I purchase.' He _
touches the fox's face. 'Do you make a habit of approaching strangers like this? I assume this is not your main form.'
presses his face against the hand, humming softly. "I mostly hide in the bushes," he admits. it was better for pranks. "But I do like the
odd company now and then."
nods, enjoying the physical side of appreciation. 'I'm glad. You know some humans don't take too kindly to foxes. I hope you're cautious,_
but don't get me wrong, I enjoy this company greatly.'
sits down, slowly letting his multiple tails come into view, feeling more relaxed with him now. "I have been around for over
400 years, I have learned a few tricks of dealing with humans."
can't help but view him as a youngster when he says 400 years, but has to admit it is a long time to study the one species. 'That's one_
good thing about them - they are easily manipulated. More than any of them will ever know.'
nods, smiling. "Very easy to fool too. It serves to be rather amusing." He tilts his head, looking up at him. "So what are you?" It's
obvious now he wasn't human.
shrugs. 'Depends what day I'm asked. Some say I'm a 'reformed', others say 'a demon going straight'. Originally an angel but I've_
spent more years bringing destruction and carnage.' He looks disappointed with himself.
blinks at this explanation, looking at him with interest now. "There are those that call you a demon going straight, and not a falling
about it. 'Well, I'm trying to join the angel ranks again so 'fallen angel' probably would have suited me better when I was still causing_
destruction. But perhaps there are those who say that. I don't know.' He looks thoughtful.
nods, making a soft 'ah' sound as he understands. "Well, as long as you are looking to right your wrongs, I see nothing wrong."
smiles and scratches under his foxy chin. 'Thank you. Not everyone is so forgiving. But I am trying hard.' He looks proud. 'I haven't done_
anything bad for nearly a hundred years.'
leans into the touch, enjoying it. "Then I congratulate you, that is quite an accomplishment."
he means it, because it is something he's very proud of. He looks curiously at him. 'So what do you do when you're not hiding out in_
forests, stealing food?' He lightly teases.
does mean it, it's always nice to see bad spirits go right. "I do many things, though I favour tricking humans."
looks amused. 'Sounds fun. You're careful not to get caught, though, right?'
laughs at this. "Of course." The times he had gotten caught were harrowing, but he always managed to come out on top.
'Good for you, Mr Fox.' He pauses, 'What is your real name, if you don't mind me asking?'
hums softly. "Kiku. May I ask your name?"
'Ki-ku...sounds exotic.' He nods. 'Heracles, son of Olympia. Or Heracles for short.' He laughs.
smiles. "From the land where the sun rises, Japan," he nods. "Pleased to meet you, Heracles."
'Japan? That is exotic.' He lifts Kiku's paw and shakes. 'Pleased to meet you also, Kiku.'
smiles a little at the hand shake, changing in a small poof of smoke to his human form, shaking his hand. "Handshakes work better with
hadn't expected the change so fast, and despite keeping a light grip on his now-human hand, he falls back onto the grass. 'Oh!' He smiles_
up at him. 'Much better. And it's nice to see your human face too. Pretty.'
chuckles softly as the other falls over, smiling his foxy smile. "Thank you, I am glad you approve?"
nods as he sits up and studies him as a human. 'I do indeed.' He looks pleased. 'It's surreal. Now I know what you're like this way, I can_
see so many of your features are shared to your fox counterpart.'
tilts his head a little, allowing Heracles to look over his face. "This is merely one form, though I suppose it would make
sense that I retain some clues. Most humans do not notice, however."
'Because humans are dumb.' He nods. 'Well I'm pretty sure I could select you out of a fox line up.' He runs his finger down his nose.
nods, though he blinks at the finger on his face, leaning back a little. "That is a bold statement."
shrugs. 'I'm a bold angel.' He smiles. 'You don't...have a family of foxes out here, do you?'
shakes his head. "I left my family in Japan, so that I could travel on my own."
frowns. 'I'm sorry. You must miss them.' He pets his head, as if he was still a fox.
blinks at the petting, reluctantly allowing it for the moment, his ears reappearing. "I do some times, but the trip is affording me many
more opportunities to learn."
pulls his legs up to his chest in interest. 'What do you want to learn?' He's been around for many centuries and his only wish would be to_
have family. Then again, unlike Kiku, he didn't voluntarily live alone.
hums softly. "I aim to learn everything. That is the best way."
hums. 'I see. Also, you wouldn't have met me if you had stayed in Japan.' He smiles and nudges him. 'Lucky you.'
arches a brow at this, though he smiles in amusement. "Yes, I suppose I wouldn't have."
looks around. 'Have you met anyone else interesting in this area? I've only been around here for a few months but so far everyone has been_
hums, his tail reappearing and flicking back and forth as he thinks. "I have not met many... though I do live with a Jinn. And the
Monkey King is around, so I suggest you watch out for him and his foolish pranks."
if it's the same jinn he met, but doesn't say anything. He looks puzzled. 'The...Monkey King?' He scratches his head. 'Who pranks? My my...'
furrows his brow a little. "Yes, he goes by the name Yong Soo now. His pranks are unsophisticated and boring."
never heard of him. 'Yong Soo. Sounds Korean. Thanks for the warning.' His stomach rumbles. 'I think I need lunch now.' He pulls out_
some of the 'coins' from earlier. 'You want something or was my sandwich just too good?'
smiles. "The sandwich was enough for me, thank you," he answers. Fox stomachs were about half as big as they would be expected to
nods, and pets his fox ears. 'Then I'll be off. I'll stop by this area again soon. Do you want me to call on you by 'Kiku' or would you_
rather keep a low profile?'
nuzzles slightly into the touch. "Kiku is perfectly alright. I will try to be here when you come again."
tweaks his nose gently and smiles. 'Alright, Kiku. I'll see you around.' ((Is it weird I think fox-Kiku has got to be one of the cutest_
flinches at the tweak, shaking his head as Hera walks off.He slips back into his fox form, to go drag that sandwich away to somewhere safer.
((nope cause i do too oops))
((jump hugs with Kiku good, cause it's hard for Greece not to adopt him as his own..))
((cuddlehugs ....welllll he could try))
((He might...
