I am getting ready for Mass and I am fairly certain 1 particular song that most of you say is not appropriate will be played. Can someone
please explain to me why "One Bread" is not appropriate? Sorry to be dense and maybe it is due to my lack of education, but...
I have been wanting to ask this for awhile and just gained enough humility to do so.

nothing stands out glaringly to me from a theological standpoint, it was one of our old guitar standbys and kind of wore out its welcome
kind of like Eagles Wings at funerals
Whew.. I went through every word of it earlier and didn't see anything so I was afraid I was really really stupid as so many people are
against it... but I do understand the wearing out part. Like I said, I thoroughly expect it will be sung tonight it is so commonly used.
