Just finished Sherlock, finally. Hmm. :|a Spoilers abound.

As usual, mixed feelings. It's a wonderful show. But I don't fully understand certain things. Like the necessity of that phone call.
It felt very much like it was there for the ~drama~ and I don't like things that are there solely for the drama.
I'm also unsure of how I feel about Mycroft being pawned off as the accidental idiot villain here. That just feels gross.

I like this version of him. Lots. Better than the old Grenada version, and that says a lot for anyone who's heard me gush about Grenada.
And I like his moral ambiguity fucktons, I really do. But then, that? I feel like it didn't make sense for him to do. It feels inconsistent.
He would know how that was going to end. He might do it anyway, but if he did, he wouldn't then act surprised, consider it a mistake, and
call in John to try and fix it. That's just bullshit.
They sacrificed his character to use him as a plot device, and that is Not Ok in my book.
....ahahaha, wow, I guess I was really kind of mad about that, huh? XD Didn't realize till I started typing. BUT YES, there's that.
Excellent storytelling though, what with the... eveything Moriarty, really. I am just floored with how they spun that out!
Also I'm pleased beyond words that they did things with Molly there. She needed it.
Also why did the little girl scream when she saw Sherlock
Anyway, I think that's about all I've got to say for now, and I should probably go to bed. :|a
