agrees that he hasn't seen Shaliza in what seems like forever. He picks up the phone and calls her.
pauses mid-drink, lowering the rum bottle, and answering her phone "Good night~"
quirks a brow and chuckles. "Right, time difference. How have you been?"
perks up at the sound of his voice. She couldn't get the caller ID to stop telling her the time. "Sadik! I've been...well it's nothing out_
_of the ordinary. I've been a lot less busy with Carnival done. What about you?"
pulls open one of his cupboards as he grabs for a glass. "I've been busy, probably not as busy as you but I did have my fair share of
work. So does this mean you're more free to step away from the office?"
takes a swig from her bottle "It does~ Are you busy? I could head over right now if you want. I could definitely use a break from everything

grins, oblivious to the possible double meaning. "Great. I'll catch the first flight over." She starts to pour out food for the animals, _
_and gather her things for the flight. "How long do you think I could crash at your place for?"
takes a sip of his water, he didn't really have to think hard about that. "For however long as you'd like. You're an always welcomed guest."
hums, staring at her closet. "Is two days okay? I think I can get away with that much before they try to kill me with paperwork."
gently places his glass down. "That's perfect."
....wraps her bottle in clothes, pushing it into her bag, packing up quickly. "Great. The weather over there is nice, right?"
"Bring some warm clothes, it's not that warm."
doesn't really have many warm clothes. Damn. "Okay..how warm? Matthew's house warm? Or..Ma's house warm?" So ice box or cold...
shakes his head when he hears Matthew, that was beyond cold. "No, not Matthew cold, sweater cold or light jacket cold."
that's more her Ma's area. "Okay, I can do that." She finishes shoving clothes into her bag and locks up behind her, sliding the large gate_
_shut and heading off to find a taxi. "I'll call you when I get there?"
nods. "In that case I'll go get ready."
smiles at that "Ready for what? It's a bit of a long flight..."
hums, smiling softly. "Do you have a surprise for me or something?"
smiles. "I could have one or you can tell me what you want upon arrival and I can get it for you."
laughs softly. "I wouldn't put you through the trouble. Just bring yourself, and I'll be happy." She'd probably be cleaning out the plane's_
_alcohol. They only had those mini bottles.
finishes off his water. "In that case I'll see you soon." And with that he hung up.
eventually lands, calling him as she walks out of the terminal.

joins the crowd, clutching her bag. "Okay. Uh...we're out. By gates, where are you?" She wondered if she was short, or everyone else in the_
spots her and waves. "Look up, you're not to far from me."
hums, finally spotting him. "Oh, I see you!" She waves back, heading over.
smiles and hangs up the phone, snapping it shut and placing it back in his back pocket. "Shaliza~ Welcome back!"
tucks her phone away, heading over to hug him tight. "Thank you~ I missed you."
hugs her back smiling. "I missed you too." He pulls away but wraps an arm around her keeping her close. "Let's get you bag and head out?"
stays close to him, looking around at everyone. "Sounds good. It's small enough..." She watches a stream of people, wondering if they were_
_headed towards the bag pick up.
leads her to the baggage pick up and glances to see if anything has started yet. "What colour is your bag?"
grins a little sheepishly. "Black. But there's a red ribbon on the handle." Most of the bags coming through were black...
