doesn't really understand why Norway has a stuffed bunny...
doesn't have to explain himself to anyone..
watches him from the doorway. His eyes judging him.
stilled the needle after a little while and glanced over his shoulder, sensing a presence. He stared blankly at him for a few moments.
continued to watch him with a vacant expression, though the corner of his lips were threatening to curve upwards and betray his impartial
kept the needle perfectly still, as not to do more damage to the rip. "Hallo, Island." He greeted finally.
"Nor." He nodded his head politely, his eyes focusing on the rabbit.
shifted slightly on the couch, careful with the stuffed toy.
glanced back at him before returning to his work. "Are y'just goin' to stand there?"
"I'd join your sewing circle, but I don't have any stuffed animals to tend to."
pauses his actions as he turns his attention back to him, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Since when were the options simply standin'_
rolled his eyes, scoffing quietly. He disappeared in to the kitchen.
wasn't very surprised by that and went back to his work without another word.
made himself a snack. He walked back in to the room and sat down with his plate.
lead the needle and thread through the last stitch. "So how're you?"
shrugged as he ate his sandwich. He tore off a small bite and held it out towards a black puffin that had made himself comfortable between_
just nods at the vague response and reaches for a small scissor on the coffee table.
"I'm fine..." Iceland answered as he finished chewing. "You?"
"'m good." He cut the thread and put the scissor back down, sliding the needle off the thread and placing it beside it.
nodded in response, quickly finishing his snack.
carefully made a knot on the end of the thread and propped the bunny up to inspect it.
cast a sideways glance at him.
seems to approve of its new state as he puts it down on the other side of him before finally acknowledging the puffin.
set the plate down on a table and leant down to pick the puffin up, smoothing out his feathers a bit.
watches it blankly for a few moments before looking up at Iceland. "If that thing shits in my house, he's out of here."
smirks. "I'll make sure he does it in your bed then."
's expression doesn't change one bit. "In that case, I'd have to find a troll that fits in your bedroom."
shrugs. "The troll would still smell better than having Denmark over."
looks away, pretending to think about that. He nods. "Good point." He turned his focus back on the bird. "But no shittin'."
"What if he uses the toilet?"
snorts. "'n walkin' 'round with his butt that close to the floor? Forget it."
stared at him incredulously, then rolled his eyes.
pats the puffin lightly on its head. "Y'hear that? We'll get along just fine."
that the other man was being ridiculous, but he'd keep that bit to himself. "Right..."
didn' care. He was humouring himself. He stands up and picks up the needle and scissor.
set the puffin back down, encouraging him to go make himself comfortable in Norway's bed.
put a foot in front of the puffin on its way, turning it the other way around before going to put the things back where they belonged.
huffed quietly. How rude.
thought it quite reasonable. He returned soon after, making sure the bird was still in his living room before he sat back down.
had settled back in to the couch comfortably, the bird falling asleep on his lap as he smoothed out his feathers.
sat in silence as he absently watched the puffin sleep.
thankful that the beast was in a good mood today; though it may have been because he had overfed it.
leant back on the couch, folding his hands in his lap. He prefered the puffin being peaceful.
preferred the puffin peaceful as well, though it was an incredibly rare occurrence, it seemed.
hums quietly. "Been up to anythin' lately?"
shrugged. "Not particularly."
nods and looks back at the sleeping animal.
stares at the bird a few moments before shaking his head. "Just had Danmark 'round, like usual." He got up and started towards the kitchen.
nodded slowly, continuing to stroke the bird lightly.
paused at the doorway to the kitchen and glanced back at him. "Y'want cocoa?"
glanced up with a shrug. "Sure."
nods lightly and disappears into the kitchen.
remained seated, not wanting to wake the beast in his lap.
returned with two mugs of hot cocoa after a while, standing in front of the Icelander as he waited for him to take one of them.
took the cup with a silent nod of thanks. He raised it to his lips and blew at it softly.
sat back down on the couch beside him, minding the cocao so it didn't spill.
sipped on the cocoa and glanced around.
waited for the drink to cool down a bit, resting his elbows on his thighs.
burned his tongue, but did little to show his discomfort.
hums softly, raising the mug to blow lightly at the cocoa.
wrinkled his nose as he bit his now numb tongue. Stupid cocoa.
glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow slightly. ".. 's there a problem?"
quickly masked his expression. "No." He glared. "Why would there be a problem?"
had easily noticed the slight break in his mask. He shrugs a bit. "Y'looked displeased. Did y'burn yourself?""
"No!" He huffed, his cheeks blushing faintly.
watched him, the corner of his lips tugging upwards slightly to something that could have become a smirk. "You're a terrible liar. Don't be
in such a rush next time."
grumbled quietly. "I blew on it first. It should have been fine."
hums and sips of his own cocoa. "Depends on how hot it is to start with."
looked over to him again, sighing lightly as he put his mug down. "Look, just go drink some water. I'm sure the cocoa's fine by now."
rolled his eyes and took a small, cautious sip of his cocoa.
watches him silently for a few moments before returning to enjoying his warm drink.
hums softly, raising the mug to blow lightly at the cocoa.
looked over to him again, sighing lightly as he put his mug down. "Look, just go drink some water. I'm sure the cocoa's fine by now."
