He's not swollen! He sounds congested so I think he's suffering from allergies too.

I talked to a mom in my big playgroup that I don't really know well. Her kids are exactly the same age difference apart as mine, just 6 wks

Ahead of me. She says she cries every day because it's so tough. Instilled lots of confidence in me.

But some people need to learn when to shut their mouths. How is that at all a helpful thing to say? You're going to find your own groove

and you will survive this. I'm willing to bet with minimal tears. People can be dumb!

Mil was debating leaving last week. I told her I was scared to do it myself but whenever she did leave, I'd survive. Cuz I have to.

I feel bad for the other mom. She's obviously not dealing well.

mine were 18 months apart. granted that was a long time ago but I do not remember crying. I remember it being hard as fuck but doable!

we found our groove. I only had help for the 1st 10 days. then I was alone all day. and weeks here and there I was alone.. I know you can do

, weren't you in Germany with a deployed husband? I think of you when I'm doubtful that I can do it. You did alone!

I think the hardest was birth to 6 mo-1yr after that it gets easier- that or you are used to it and find your groove.
Fianna

everything I've read is that it sucks for the first year and after that, it's easy as they are great friends and play together.

You can do it...we are here to prop you up when you need us...the other mom needs to think before she speaks BTW...
Kaytabug

that is basically it. but it starts to get better around 6 months

You know, second kids are a little easier on you because you don't have to change as much yourself as you did with the first. Yes, it's hard
abritdifferent

but her crying about it is just exacerbating the situation. You just adjust and move forward.
