That's just laziness

From what I've read, it seems to be like digital Legos. But, I've never played it.

I have a friend in college who's addicted, but then, he plays regular legos with my kids.

Not that that's a bad thing, it's a good thing.

It's just not my thing. I need plot.

I guess its all who you play with, lol

My kids love, love love Minecraft, to the point where I set up a server for them at work so that they can share a world. Yeah, it's like..

Lego for them.

The whole low-res thing means that even low end computers can work with and display astounding creations.

Minecraft is a fun game, and that is independent of the apparent resolution.

It's not about pretty clothes, it's about manipulating the environment, gathering resources, creating stuff with them.

and avoiding pesky monsters

That might be my problem, I've never been much into the crafting portion of any game.
