there are sooooo many beautiful shoes out there. was chatting with a mother-of-the-groom yesterday while i was shopping.

she was doing low heels. she wanted flats but had been told no way for her dress

I own 1 pair each of black sneakers, brown loafers, black & brown 'dress' shoes, hiking boots, duty boots, and ghillies for formal kilts.

Even my dress shoes and ghillies have ridged oil-resistant rubber soles and such, tho, since I'm always on call laugh

Be funny to be working a DC emergency in a formal kilt, but I keep spare clothes (sans shoes) at work for that.
