thought the house felt... different. Like someone else was around again.

hated. leaving. She was so mad with her boss, she just wanted to stay in Denmark with Søren and not talk to her boss for a while.

would love that. He eventually found her and smiled. He kneeled beside the couch, moved the cat to her stomach and rested his head against

her chest.

made a small sound at the new amount of pressure, she mumbled quietly in her sleep. "Søren.." She shifted a little. "Jag saknar dig..."

smiled as his eyes closed. He was more pale than normal, and tired. But he was glad she was back.

started to open her eyes, she looked at him, and quickly hugged him. "'M not dreamin, ja..?" She didn't want to be dreaming.

smirked and hugged her back lightly. "Nej... ye're really here... and so am I..."

smiled a little happily, she nuzzled her face into his neck. "Good.." She would hate to wake up alone.

smiled a bit more before actually starting to fall asleep.

"let's go t' bed, ja?" She didn't want him sleeping on the floor like that.

nodded a little. He'd be fine on the floor, especially since he didn't know if he had the energy to get to his room.

gave him a kiss on the lips. "Come on, Søren, up.."

smiles a bit. "Kay, Astrid..." He slowly pushed himself off of her before getting up and holding onto the couch.

got up, kissing his cheek and offering him her hand.

looked at it before hesitantly taking it, using his hand that had the bandage on his wrist. It seemed a little more pale than his other one.

stares at the bandage. "What did y' do this time?"

hummed as he headed for his room.

Stops walking. "What did y' do?"

frowns a bit. "I wanna rest..."

"tell me first." she wouldn't budge until he told her.

kept trying to loosely pull her. "I wanna rest with ye..."

stood her ground. "Nej, jus' tell me."

shakes his head and smiled weakly at her. "S'fine, really." He slowly let their hands fall. "Let's just sleep... ja?"

wraps her arms around his waist. "Nej, tell me, please?"

frowns and looks away. "It was just a small incident a while ago... s'fine..."

frowns still looking at him. "Y'er lyin t' me."

pouts. "Nej." He wanted to know how she knew.

"'S easy t' tell when y'er lyin. Y'er quieter, y' can't look at me. So jus' tell me, Søren. I hate bein lied to."

looked down. "I just miscalculated the distance from the knife and my arm when I made lunch..."

frowned a little. "Seriously?"

nodded as he kept his head down. He wouldn't mention how it had gotten infected.

sighs quietly. "'S infected 'snt it?" She had a feeling it was.

frowned and kept his eyes down.

sighs quietly. "Come on... Let's go t' the bathroom." She took his good hand and started to tug him.

made a sound, refusing at first but couldn't be bothered to pull away so he just followed her.

sighs a little glad that he just followed without putting up much of a fuss. She walked into the bathroom. "Let's see."

made a sound as he just held up his wrist to her.

looked at his wrist frowning at him, grabbing the first aid kit and starting to clean his cut frowning at him.

twitched and winced as she worked on cleaning it.

kissed his cheek as she worked. "Y'er doin so well." She finished cleaning the cut and began to bandage it.

smiled a bit. He liked hearing her being motherly when he wasn't well.

couldn't help her maternal instincts when someone she cared about was hurt. She finished wrapping his wrist. "There." She kissed it lightly.

smiled and leaned his head against her. His wrist still hurt, but she was helping a lot.

sits up fully, she played with his hair. "'S that 'ny better?"

nods. "Ja, tak..." He smiled up at her with tired eyes. He was still pale, though his face had a bit more colour thanks to her.

smiled. "Let's go lay down now, ja?" She noticed the colour on his face, and was glad she helped.

nodded and slowly got up. He was exhausted...

helped him to his room, opening the door, and walking to the bed.

followed her closely, struggling a bit to get his shirt off with his wrist like this.

helped him with that. "There."

smiled. "Tak." He got in bed after and just sprawled out on it.

sat on a spot that didn't have him sprawling all over it.

hummed as he looked up at her.

"I can't lay down if y'er everywhere."

sighed. "Ja, ye can." He did shift a bit for her though.

laid down when he moved, she laid close to him. "Now I can."

smiles and nuzzled into her.

kissed him lightly. "Let's jus' sleep, ja?"

nodded and kissed her back before smiling and resting right beside her.

smiles a little bit, closing her eyes staying close to him.
