I read a post over the weekend where 37signals doesn't let their designers comp sites in PhotoShop for that very reason

I read that article @ 37signals. I agree. Rarely use photoshop anymore. Fireworks is my tool of choice. Problem is I've no set process.

I started building sites in fireworks years ago before wireframes became the norm. My problem is wireframe w/o putting visuals in.

he really enjoys the challenge of coding unique designs. He thinks that's where the code meets the creative. Making CSS more of an art form.

the challenge as well. Taking a 3 year break in doing this kind of work has left me feeling a bit rusty. That and new ways of doing things.
