it is utterly gorgeous and I used to love reading it out loud to the children.
I had it read to me and I borrow it over and over from the library. I also read it to kids (that I cared for and nephews and nieces).
I still have this book. I lost the childhood copy, but bought it again several times as a grown-up - and kept giving it away to kids I knew.
