Todd is superhumanly strong and agile. Think the strength of an alpha gorilla combined with the speed of a viper.
He also has the ability to rapidly recover from wounds. So if Dist manages to stab/shoot/slash him, he'll walk it off, so to speak.
Thirdly and finally, he's going to be hallucinating that his only daughter is hurt beyond her ability to heal.
