9mm. Less kick and a bit more stable in flight if loaded properly. I'd prefer S38 but 9mm is good too. Mura pa loads!
its my first time ti handle a gun. tips?
Always think the gun is loaded, dont point at anything u dont wnt to kill, stance is important, forget evrythng u saw in the movies.
i saw a stance na shoulder width, side by side yung stance nung legs.
Isoceles or triangle stance. Standard for stability and practical shooting.
i prefer weaver stance for flexibility tho.
I'd suggest the triangle stance before you go Weaver. The weaver is more of a strong-hand stance and meant for mobility.
Double-check with the instructor if you need to bend your legs on the triangle stance, it depends on the caliber.
Pros of the Weaver: mobility, quick target acquisition, ability to reload faster do to position.
Cons: your weak side is angled forward, requiring good stance to support on higher calibers; reduced mobility on your weak side.
Also, gun handling basic: do not put your finger on the trigger, any where near it, or inside the trigger guard unless you are about to fire
Practice firm grip: you're holding something that creates an explosion and uses that explosion to blockback and reload itself.
Be ready for the shot. Most common beginner's curse is closing your eyes as you pull the trigger because you expect a large flash.
Moderate > Advanced technique is breath control. Aim, Inhale, Shoot, Exhale.
If your finger is on the trigger, the gun better be pointing at something you're shooting. Remove your finger before you aim the gun
anywhere else; even more so when you point the weapon down. Don't even try to be cute and look down the barrel; loaded or otherwise.
And do not spam. Seriously.
Oh, and keep your shooting thumb low. You might get Slide burn or worse.
Also, you use the center portion of the front of your finger to pull the trigger. Not the tip, and not the mid-point of your finger.
Dave mantioned most of what you'll need to know pati on the stances. You'll develop your own preference as you go along. Sa trigger placemnt
I use the pad of the index finger, where the fingerprint whorl is. Make sure you're pulling straight backwards, not pushing the whole gun to
the left or pulling it to the right. Malaking factor ang trigger pull action sa accuracy.
alright thanks! ill read this again before I go to the firing range.
that course should have basic safety and handling din...
funny how it's the gf who wanted to go.

I dont have to worry about her during the apocalypse.
unless she wants to kill you for some reason

I doubt. She'd kill me when I get infected.
Thats the only time I guess.
Don't worry Oya. When the time comes, the Archon will kill all the infected. Because everyone else will have this emo-arte shit XD
"You can't kill him! He's our friend!"
"Yah yah... blah blah" BLAM "And if he befriended you in that state, I'll gladly shoot you too."
For the greater good. I've read too much of the Walking Dead Comics to see that shit coming. Its gonna be hard, but I know...
Ill be strong enough the first second some turns into one.
Kaya nga, don't worry. I'm there to do what people won't XD
Onga pala. In the event that you're loading and the clip drops or a bullet does, freeze. As in FamiCom PAUSE and let the instructor
handle it. And don't be ashamed to ask him/her to do the bullet loading for you.
In the event na wala ka, or ikaw yung infected. at least ready ako.
Pag ako nainfect, tangina pakshet, tapos kayong lahat.
Oh, that awkward moment when the clip drops.

yeah i will.
Today is the day. Read everything again. I hope I have a good aim.
actually the main thing is to be consistent. if you always miss the bullseye but you always do it 2in to the right then it's easy to
so repetition is key. be aware of what you're doing, stance, trigger pull and etc so that you can keep doing the same thing for consistency
parang racing lang. dapat consistent.
yuh. it's much more mental than physical. endurance na lang yung physical pag tatagalan mo.
My wrist is healed. yung index finger 90% pa. But thats the right hand. Left handed naman ako.
ah ok. mahirap mag-left minsan sa shooting tho. yung slide release usually one side lang e... left ng baril.
i guess ill have to deal with it, like i usually do being a lefty.
may mga ambi guns tho pero most likely sa mga ganyan shop its either a basic 1911 or a beretta
whats an ambi gun? and how does it differ from a 9mm?
oh ambidextrous gun.
ambidextrous. either hand is ok. may ibang manufacturers that make guns na similar left/rt sides
ill ask na lang mamaya. ilang oras na lang!
sakto sa zombie invasion.
Thanks!
yup. Tamang tama lang.
