me, i kind of find a person i think i could play, and someone else generally has to enable me into trying them out
and then i get more comfortable in their headspace as i play them mroe
but other people seem to get very pushy muses XD
i've never gotten a muse that clicked with me like that
most of mine are like that
Zack Fair comes to mind >.>
hm, personally I'd say I'm actually not either one. I always end up just playing the people that I find most interesting as characters,
I've never had a pushy muse. I just sort of picked because that's who I wanted to play.
Shinpachi is like...the one who I got more interested in after I picked him up
regardless of whether I initially feel I'd be good at them or not. I just can't get enthused about playing anyone else :|a
And because I'd done enough reading/thinking about them before that I thought I could write them
penbee: yeah, that's closer to what i do
though two of the three muses i've played on LJ i was enabled into picking up XD
after i said 'oh i might be able to pull him/her off'
I AM MORE LIKE YOU, ALEX, I generally pick up someone that I think I could handle and that I have some ideas for. It's rarely my favorite
hahah, actually another way i pick my muse is based on my favorite character, sort of...
for example, in T&B i adored Kotetsu and didn't think all that much of Bunny at first
but i picked Bunny up b/c i knew i couldn't play Kotetsu, but i would get to play with Kotetsu's
...and now i love Bunny sfm /sob
though I generally choose the character that I just really really love
I wanted to join Scorched and thought a Boktai character would be fun in the game, and Lucian won the lottery XD
while RoboBunny just settled into my headspace while I was reading the fics and just started poking at me
"Hey, play me! It'll be fun!
I still owe you one too /sobs
work, she is kicking my ass
hopefully I can get it done before my shift tomorrow
Susumu-muse picked me. I had no say in it whatsoever. XD One day he was just there. And wouldn't leave.
He wasn't even my favourite character at the time, lol. I guess that makes him the 'pushy' variety.
definitely the pushy type
