sits next to him, trying to take a peek at his drawings without making it so obvious he's staring.
used to sit alone, though he wasn't going to chase him away. In fact, he barely noticed his presence as his focus was on the strange_
creature he was sketching down.
blinks, gasping a bit. "Mahtava!" (Awesome!) he mumbles, covering his mouth soon after, watching him intently.
pauses his pencil in the middle of a line, taking a moment before he glances up at the boy. "... Pardon?" Whatever language that was, it_
reminded him of how the Sami spoke.
blushes a bit, nodding. "Ah, I'm Finnish! My mum was a Sami actually, so..." he mumbles, looking up at him. "Sorry, I didn't mean to_
disturb, but... that's a pretty awesome drawing you have there." he points, pausing again. "Oh, how rude... I'm Tino Väinämöinen."
simply stares in silence while he talks, lifting the pencil off the paper. "... I see. Sorry, but I don't know any Finnish." He glances_
briefly at the sketch. "Thank you.. And I'm.. Luke, I guess."
nods. "Luke... Ah, that's a nice name." he nods after, smiling a bit. "Well, where are you from, then?" he smiles a bit more, trying his_
best to be welcome without being scary.
"Maybe it is.." He muttered idly and added a line to his drawing. "I'm from Norway." He thought the accent was pretty clear, but then again_
there were few who could place his accent to the right country.
nods. "Hm, I was guessing here you were from Sweden, close enough..." he taps his lips. "I've been to Oslo only once, but I was a kid."
"That's understandable." He picked up the rubber and erased some of the drawing. "Only time I've been to Oslo was when we had to fly here."
nods. "Ahm. Well, I come from Lapland actually... Rovaniemi, I don't think you'd know." he pauses, looking down at the drawing. "It's very_
cold, but a nice place... I could see the Aurora from there, even." he chuckles. "But.. I flew here, it's been two years. You're new, hm?"
"Your accent is different from the Sami I'm used to." He admitted and continued his drawing. "Your home sounds like mine... Yes, I am."
shrugs. "That so? Well... I speak a lot like my mum, and she's from the north of Finland. The Sami you know are from the north of Norway so_
maybe..." he rambles a bit, blinking after. "Well, we're from cold places then, hm." he laughs. "Do you like coffee, Luke? I have a bit."
simply nods in agreement at his rambling, sketching further on the drawing. He glances up to him when he mentions coffee. ".. Yes, I do.
tugs a small thermos from his bag, using the lid as a small cup. He serves a bit of coffee, handing it to the other. "Here you go. Careful!"
watches him silently. He closes his notebook and puts the pencil behind his ear, then takes the offered cup. "Thanks."
smiles again at him, holding the thermos and taking a small sip from it, used to the hot coffee already. "Oh, I only put two sugars... Hope_
it's enough for you." he sighs. "So, do you draw often? I don't draw much but... Well, actually, I'm better at cooking."
circled the coffee around a little. "I usually drink it black." He said and took a sip of it. "No.. It's not a hobby. Just somethin' to pass
blinks. "Oh, well does it taste too bad?" he sighs, nodding after. "Ah! Well, cooking isn't a hobby, but my dad can't cook and someone had_
to make sure there's food." He laughs.
shook his head, barely noticable. "No, 's alright." He drank a bit more of it, paying half an ear to the others talking. "Ah.. I see."
laughs a bit more, shrugging. "It's funny, actually!" he smiles once the other approves his coffee, sipping it gently. "Oh, that's a pretty_
pin on your hair." he points.
lowered the termos lid, humming quietly. "Funny?" He questioned, then blinked softly. ".. Thank you. It's necessary."
chuckles. "I mean, it's... ah, nevermind." he shakes his head, blushing. "Oh, necessary? Hair gets on the way then, right..."
blinked softly a few times, then just shrugged it off. He had never been very good socially. "Ja- Yes." He confirmed and took a new sip.
