Things do not always work out as we think they should. It can be very hard.

I have similar emotions over slightly different circumstances. There may be no realistic expectations, but hope remains.

It hurts, but that is what it is. Pain is a part of life, and only useless when you do not learn from it. I have learned a lot.

And I am still holding on to hope.

That said, I hope that everything works out for the very best for you - whatever that is.
