a graphic novel of the first book
...it's got really, really pretty arts, and yes i am reading it
does it. does it hurt less than the actual novel?
personally i didn't find the actual novel that painful, but this does get rid of many of the grammatical flaws b/c it's mostly visual
i'm taking pictures of some of the pages, hang on

...it always bothered me that they took all that food and didn't eat it
didn't it occur to even one of them that taking nothing for lunch would get remarked upon less than wasting all that food?
especially if they went and hid in the library or something during lunch

i adore the use of color in this book, though
they don't usually color his eyes, they're usually either 'light' or 'dark' shaded
but i love how they did it there, just... beautiful

another glorious use of color, when she faints during the blood testing in biology

last one
from one of her dreams, those are colored too
very subtly, with dark greens and such that my camera couldn't pick up
the first book is condensed down into two relatively slim graphic novels which gives you an idea of how much she padded them with
nonsense
Ha, sounds like this is the most bearable iteration of the story in the franchise.
if they keep doing the rest of them, i want to see how they handle the vore birth
/shudder/ I either want it to be handled in a classy (as much as you can make it) way or for it to be a really ridic gore fest.
lmao, i think that since these books seem to be trying to be serious, i'd guess 'classy'
i'm seeing artfully bloody streaks all over the page, a flash of Bella's face contorted in pain, disembodied teeth hovering somewhere...
and then at the end, someone holding the baby
my first thought was 'oh god why is there a graphic novel'
Heh, I imagine you're right.
I've seen Gossip Girl graphic novels
Weird, this Bella has facial expressions other than 'supreme constipation'.
LMAO that was my very first thought when i opened the book
