behind the bar, cleaning a few cups. It was a rather quiet night.

went up to the counter, pulling her hair loose, she looked odd for an earth bender. "Hej." She said, glad for the quietness.

glanced over to her and smiled a bit. "Hej. What can I get for ye?"

smiled a little back. "Ah, a beer please." She just wanted something alcoholic tonight.

nodded and took a clean dry glass and filled it to the rim. He placed it down in front of her and smiled.

nodded to him and took out her wallet to pay for the drink, she didn't plan on drinking more than this. "Tack." She picked up the glass and

took a drink from it.

put the money away and went back to cleaning the bar. "Feel good after a long day?"

Nods to him. "Mhmm, 's nice t' get a strong drink." she concentrated on the drink after.

kept an eye on her as he cleaned around the bar, going around and out to collect glasses others had left behind.

didn't realize him watching her, she sighed and nursed the beer, not really wanting to go home.

hadn't expected her to wanna go home yet. He just cleaned up, making sure his bar looked good. He liked being one of the successful ones.

liked this bar, it was nice and well kept, unlike some of the other ones. She finished her beer and after a small debate, ordered a second.

happily got her another before leaning against the back of the bar. It was almost too quiet for normal...

looked around a little and took another drink. "'S quiet t'night." She half muttered.

nods. "Mhmm. I don't like it." He had been havin trouble with some people lately...

raised an eyebrow. "Why not? Money?"

shrugs. "People just like makin' this place a mess."

nods to him. "Ah.. I don' think they will if 'm here." A lot of people knew who she was.

nodded and poured himself a drink. "I guess. S'good for me, really. I don't want trouble tonight."

nods taking a small drink. "Mhmm.. I'd be glad for a quiet night.."

shrugs and sat down near her on his side of the bar. "I'm sure."

blinked and looked at him, she just wasn't used to bar tenders being so nice and... close to her. "Mhmm."

liked to get to know his customers, in hopes of them becoming regulars. It'd be good for business.

thought that that was a very good idea honestly, she was thinking about coming back here tomorrow night after work too.

would welcome her again. He never had anyhing against anyone, as long as they didn't create a ruckus.

obviously wouldn't, if anything she'd help end one.

would like that. A person of authority was always a good ally in a bar.

agreed with him on that honestly, she wouldn't mind coming back to this bar and becoming a regular.

loved the business. He gave her a drink on the house, figuring it was a slow night anyways.

stared at the drink quietly. "Uh.. Thanks." She smiled a little at him.

nods and cleaned the rest of the glasses that came in, watching as people left slowly.

sat and slowly drank her alcohol. "Do y' give drinks out often? Or 's it jus' t' the p'lice force?"

shrugs. "If it's a slow night I tend to. No reason not to, really. Makes people happy."

nods quietly and took a small mouthful. "Ah, ja, 'nd it 's good for business."

smirked. "No kiddin'. Just enjoy that. It'll probably be the last for the night, s'kinda close to closin' time."

nods to him. "Ja." She smiled a little at him and drank more. "I should go soon.."

nods a little. "Do ye need someone to walk ye home?"

blinks and thinks about that. "Not really... But.. Company would be nice, ja.."

smiles and nods."Sure."He waited until the last customers left before quickly cleaning up and turning off the lights behind the bar."Ready?"

nods to him. "Mhmm." She stood up and headed for the door waiting for him.

walked out with her and locked up. "Lead the way~"

nodded and started to lead the way to her apartment.

put his hands in his pockets and hummed. It was a nice night.

walked a little slowly, it was nice and she didn't want to just go back home and stay in her stuffy apartment.

wan't in a rush either. He loved nightly walks, as long as Equalists aren't around.

agreed. She liked that it was a quiet night for once. "Tack.. For walkin me home."

smiled. "No problem. I like to keep my female customers happy."

blinked at that. "What does that mean?" She just wondered.

blinks and blushed. "A-ah, not like that! I just like to make them feel comfortable on their way home..."

nodded a little. "Okay. 'll believe y'." She laughed quietly just joking.

rubbed the back of his head. "Heh, sorry... m'not like that though."

nods. "That's good. I wouldn' want t' walk home with a pervert."

She didn't mean to sound that blunt.. it just sorta happened.

chuckled a little. "I'm pretty safe, don't worry. I wouldn't wanna do anythin' to risk my bar, especially with someone with authority."

nodded. "Good." She was glad that he wasn't an idiot. "M' name 's Astrid by the way."

smiles down at her a little after that. "I'm Søren. S'nice to meet ye."
